Metallica Tearing Through Australia in November

After many a controversial and riot-fueled tours off green and gold shores with their latest album Death Magnetic, Metallica dropped hints during a press conference in the Colombian capital of Bogotoa that an Australian and New Zealand tour is looking pretty shifty later in the year, around November. Although management are yet to confirm for certain, it seems as though we could be seeing the rock legends hitting some Aussie soil for the first time since their last visit six years ago in 2004. Metallica are currently still touring the Death Magnetic album, and have been since its release in September 2008. Whichever way, fans and ticket outlets alike are bracing themselves for an enslaughter of some super rock stardom.
